Clear Lake United Methodist cookie walk

The United Methodist Church in Clear Lake, Iowa, will be hosting the annual Cookie Walk for Missions on Dec. 4.
The Cookie Walk offers a wide variety of homemade cookies, candies, pies and specialty breads available for purchase by the piece or by the pound. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m. and there is no charge for admission. Cookie and candy sales continue to 11 a.m. or until sold out.
This year there will also be homemade crafts available for sale. They can range from needlework and fabric art, to woodworking items and more. All activities take place downstairs in the fellowship hall.
The women of the church will serve mid-morning coffee with coffee, tea and fresh-baked cinnamon rolls as well as soup, sandwich and pie at noon. There is a nominal charge for refreshments.
Proceeds from this event are directed to missions ministry supported by the United Methodist Church of Clear Lake, Iowa, most specifically the school tuition of four youngsters in Guatemala. The church is located at 508 Second Ave. N in Clear Lake, Iowa.
