Horner visits Hy-Vee on tour

Indpendence Party gubernatorial candidate Tom Horner made a brief visit in Albert Lea Monday afternoon at Hy-Vee prior to a final pre-election rally in St. Paul that night.

His lieutenant governor running mate Jim Mulder and former Republican U.S. Sen. Dave Durenberger led the other two buses.
Horner’s bus went through Cottage Grove, Hastings, Red Wing, Rochester, Albert Lea, Waseca, Mankato and Bloomington.
Mulder’s bus stopped in Blaine, Forest Lake, Duluth, Grand Rapids, and Brainerd. Durenberger’s bus went to St. Cloud, Alexandria, Moorhead, Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls.
