Pins leads Lake Mills to season-opening win

Lindy Pins scored 25 points with a team-high four assists Tuesday, as the Lake Mills Bulldogs girls’ basketball beat won at St. Ansgar 50-27.
“We came out and played really hard,” Bulldogs head coach Beth Van Roekel said. “We played as a team.”
The Bulldogs led 30-27 after three quarters, but blew open the game after outscoring St. Ansgar 20-6 in the fourth.
Amanda Lampman recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Haley Matthews had six points and six rebounds.
The Bulldogs (1-0) play again Nov. 30 at home against Central Springs.
