Marilynn Borland, Ride and Chore Services coordinator, said the show should be enjoyable for all ages.

“I think it will be a fun-filled afternoon,” Borland said. “There will be a variety of people, a little bit of something for everybody.”

The show comes as Senior Resources celebrates its 30th year in existence.

Senior Resources provides services and programs including the Ride Services program, the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, Senior Advocacy, Chore Services, and the Family Caregiver Network, among others.

The organization is in the middle of a campaign to raise $30,000 that will go toward continuing its programs in place.

This comes as Senior Resources was cut $20,000 — $10,000 from the city of Albert Lea and $10,000 from the Area Agency on Aging.

The organization’s leaders hope the programs they have in place will be able to survive another 30 years.
