Vote shift small in Ramsey County

ST. PAUL (AP) — Minnesota’s second-largest county has finished checking its numbers in the undeclared governor’s race and the shift in votes was small.
Democrat Mark Dayton gained four votes over his election night total and Republican Tom Emmer had three more in a tally certified by the Ramsey County canvassing board on Wednesday.
It tracks with tiny changes across Minnesota, which mean the race is headed to an almost-certain recount.
Dayton leads Emmer by about 8,750 votes — comfortably within the margin for an automatic recount that would start after Thanksgiving.
