my cool parents sent to me

Four referees a calling,

Three french fries,

Two hair scrunchies,

And a new pair of sneakers in a pear tree.

On the fifth day of girls’ basketball,

my cool parents sent to me

Five trips to the bathroom,

Four referees a calling,

Three french fries,

Two hair scrunchies,

On the sixth day of girls’ basketball,

Six jump shots made,

Five trips to the bathroom,
