Bulldogs defeat Vikings

Lindy Pins scored 22 points as the Lake Mills Bulldogs girls’ basketball team defeated the Northwood-Kensett Vikings 46-34 Thursday night in Northwood.
“We played very good defense tonight,” Lake Mills coach Beth Van Roekel said. “We played well as a team tonight and we were very aggressive.”
Along with Pins, Megan Johnson had nine points, while Catherine Adams had five points and five rebounds.
Tessa Bratrud led the way for the Vikings with 13 points, while Jami Dahlby and Britney Low had eight points a piece.
Northwood-Kensett is in action on Friday against Central Springs, while Lake Mills travels to Rockford on Saturday.
