NORTHWOOD, Iowa — Lake Mills’ Marcus Gaskill and Tyler Rice combined for 40 points Thursday, as the Bulldogs boys’ basketball team topped Northwood-Kensett 62-41.

The Bulldogs (2-0, 0-0 North Iowa) built a 38-17 lead at halftime and never relinquished.

Garrett Olson led the Vikings (0-2, 0-0 Corn Bowl) in scoring with eight points. Michael Otis, Tyler Thofson and Michael Gorden each chipped in five points.
