Cars crash on slick streets

Albert Lea police responded to several automobile crashes due to slick roads on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A hit and run crash was reported to police at 2306 E. Main St. at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday. It was reported that the vehicle was hit Monday night while parked in the lot at America’s Best Value Inn.
A car crash with no injuries was reported to police at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Johnson Street.
Police responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Clark Street at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
No injuries were reported in a traffic crash Tuesday at 5:27 p.m. at the intersection of West Clark Street and U.S. Highway 13.
Names were exchanged but no injuries reported in a crash at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of St. John Avenue and East Seventh Street. A white Cadillac and a tan Buick collided, according to police reports.
A hit and run crash was reported at 1619 W. Main St. at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday. No damages or injuries were reported.
No injuries were reported when a Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Malibu collided at the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday, according to police reports.
Another crash was reported to police at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday at 2708 Bridge Ave. when a Chevrolet Corsica and Oldsmobile Bravada collided. No injuries were reported.
A GMC truck went into the ditch on County Road 20 just north of the landfill at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. Albert Lea police reported no injuries.
Theft reported
A missing license plate was reported to Albert Lea police at 621 E. 11th St. Wednesday at 3:38 p.m.
Trailer burglary
Burglary to a trailer at 725 Larimore Circle was reported to Albert Lea police at 6:07 p.m. Wednesday. Damages were unknown to police.
Property damage on vehicle
A criminal damage property report was filed with Albert Lea police at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday. The front end of a vehicle was damaged while parked at the intersection of East College Street and South Newton Avenue. The emblem and some paint were lying on the ground, and it is speculated that the damage occurred while someone was clearing sidewalks.
