Chargers sneak by Rebels

ST.CLAIR- Val Sahr had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the United South Central Rebels, but it wasn’t enough as the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers girls’ basketball team defeated the Rebels 38-32 Wednesday at the St. Clair Holiday Tournament.
“The name of the game is putting the ball in the basket,” USC coach Stu Hendrickson said. “As a team were not putting the ball in the basket right now.”
USC struggled shooting from the floor as the Rebels shot 22 percent.
The Rebels play on Thursday at 1 p.m. as they face Montgomery-Lonsdale in the St. Clair Holiday tournament.
