Multiple minor crashes reported

Five traffic crashes were reported in Albert Lea between 1 and 3 p.m. Friday after snow began at noon, according to police. No one was injured.

A few instances of cars going into the ditch were also reported in Freeborn County, according to reports. No injuries were reported in these instances either.

Damage reported to vehicles

Several young kids were reportedly throwing rocks at vehicles at Zion Lutheran Church, 924 Bridge Ave., on Saturday evening. Several automobiles sustained minor damage, though there was one that received a broken windshield, according to police.

Two cited for DWI

Police cited Christopher James Anderson, 30, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at Broadway Avenue and Third Street at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

Police cited Bonnie Lynn Byers, 46, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at Main Street and Ulstad Avenue at 2:28 a.m. Sunday, reports stated.
