Anna Anderson and Sophia Jepson each scored goal Tuesday for the Tigers as the Albert Lea girls’ hockey team beat Mankato West 2-0 in Mankato.

The Tigers (5-4, 4-2 Big Nine) have now won five of their past six games after losing three straight games by one goal to open the season.

Mariah Leach recorded an assist during the game and goaltender Sydney Conley saved 30-of-30 shots.

The Tigers outshot the Scarlets (4-5-1, 3-3-1 ) 35-30.

The Tigers play again at 7:30 p.m. Thursday against Winona at City Arena (2-2, 2-1).
