NEW RICHLAND– Carlie Wagner scored 27 points, while Jade Schultz recorded 20 points as the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers girls’ basketball team defeated the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals 87-47 Tuesday in New Richland.
“We were very concerned coming into the game since we went to overtime with them the last time we played them in December,” NRHEG coach John Schultz said. “We have come a long way since then. We shoot better and turn the ball over a lot less now. I am proud of the girls hustle and poise they are now playing with.”
Along with Wagner and Schultz, Kristina Cole was the other Panther to finish in double figures with 17 points.
The Panthers will be in action on Thursday as they travel to Wells to take on the United South Central Rebels.
