ROCHESTER — The Albert Lea wrestling team ran into the No. 1-ranked team in Illinois Friday as the Tigers lost to Carl Sandburg 53-10 in the opening round of the Clash National Wrestling Duals at Rochester Community College.

The Tigers received wins from Dalton Westerlund, Conner Kortan and Caleb Gaudian and face No. 1-ranked Broomfield, Colo. at 6 p.m. in the consolation round.
