LAKE MILLS, Iowa– Tyler Rice and Tim Brandt both scored 22 points, while Marcus Gaskill scored 17 points and collected 15 rebounds as the Lake Mills Bulldogs boys’ basketball team defeated the West Hancock Eagles 78-68 Thursday in Lake Mills.

“Both teams played very well on offense,” Lake Mills coach Kyle Menke said. “Our kids played good defense down the stretch and knocked down their free throws.”

Alex Grunhovd also had a double-double for Lake Mills as he scored 11 points and dished out 10 assists.

Lake Mills is back in action tonight as they travel to Mason City to take on Newman Catholic.
