“Turnovers led to points for them,” Albert Lea coach Lucas Kreuscher said. “Offensively, we were never in rhythm. We were on our heels a lot.”

The Packers ended up shooting 36 percent from the field and hit seven 3-pointers.

“A lot of credit has to go to Austin,” Kreuscher said. “They play really aggressive, their scrappy and they move the ball well offensively.”

Kyle Ooms led the Tigers with nine points, while Dylan See-Rockers chipped in seven points.

Albert Lea is back in action on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. as they travel to Waseca.
