Promenade will be held in the high school auditorium beginning at 3:30 p.m. Couples will need to be ready to line up by 3 p.m. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. to seat the public, and Anderson said he hopes the community comes to the promenade.

“We hope to have a great turnout,” Anderson said.

Anderson said the public is also invited to check out the decorations in the gym to see the work of John Fure, prom set designer.

“Mr. Fure did an awesome job,” Anderson said.

He also said Krystal Falk and her committee of students did a good job planning the prom, and he hopes students are responsible and safe over prom weekend.

Any junior or senior who attends ALHS or the Area Learning Center is eligible to attend the prom. Upper-classmen may invite sophomores or a guest who meets attendance requirements. Permission forms for guests are due by April 15.

Seniors can purchase tickets on April 18, and juniors can purchase tickets on April 19. Tickets are $35 for a couple or $17.50 for single tickets, and can be purchased after school in Room E119.
