The memorial service for Barbara Elaine Hunley of the Thompson, Iowa, and Lake Mills, Iowa, area will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Barbara died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Forest City Good Samaritan Society, Forest City, Iowa. She was 75 years old.

Barbara was born Sept. 17, 1935, in Albert Lea, to Robert S. and Minnie M. (Bock) Hanson. Barbara enjoyed dancing, bowling, softball, gambling, bingo and fishing. Barbara worked many years for the Boeing Company, Seattle, Wash.

Barbara is survived by brothers: Willis Hanson and his wife, Barbara, of Wisconsin, Mervin Hanson and his wife, Joyce, of Waseca, and Adolph Hanson of Lake Mills, Iowa; sister, Maxine Narverud of Mason City, Iowa; many nieces and nephews

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Minnie Hanson; daughter, Diana Edwards; brothers: James Hanson, Ronald Hanson and Jerome Hanson; nephew, Eugene Hanson.
