First Lutheran Church Women

First Lutheran Church Women met at 1:15 p.m. April 13 in Bethany Hall. Prelude music was provided by Joan Holt.

Marge Moine welcomed everyone and led the reciting of the Purpose Statement. Devotions were given by Cathy Carter.

Jinni Olson introduced the special music by Deb Koenigs and the program “Tales of the Habitat” by Lilah Aas.

Hymn No. 107, “Beneath the Cross of Jesus,” was sung by everyone.

The secretary’s report was approved by Bonnie Trampel and seconded by Nancy Jenson. The report will be placed on file.

Instructions on the kits for the Lutheran World Relief Van were placed on the table for 2011 (old kits) and 2012 (new kits). If some circles wish to bring certain items for the kits, please bring those to the church by May 14. Also, the program for St. John’s Lutheran Home will be at 2 p.m. May 19. All FLCW are invited to attend.

The business meeting was conducted by Co-President Bonnie Schneider.

The treasurer’s report was placed on file.
