Man reportedly trespasses on train

A man looking for a way back to Dallas reportedly jumped on a Union Pacific train at 11:56 a.m. Thursday near William Street.

Police reportedly found the man after receiving a call from Union Pacific management. As an officer was going to cite the man with trespassing, he reportedly received an emergency medical call he had to respond to. By the time he was finished with that call, he tried contacting the Union Pacific Railroad management without any success. No other information was available as of press time.

Police received a call of a suspicious man in a red SUV following a young girl home by Hawthorne School at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

The man was reportedly wearing a hat and had a mustache.

Bike reported stolen

A copper colored Mongoose bike was reported stolen from a residence at 2007 S.E. Marshall St. at 5:27 p.m. Thursday. The bike was later recovered.
