WELLS — The United South Central Rebels baseball team scored six runs in the sixth inning Friday and beat the Blooming Prairie Blossoms 12-2.
Anthony Stenzel earned the win for the Rebels (4-4, 2-3 Gopher) after throwing six innings and giving up two runs. Stenzel scattered 5 hits while walking one and striking out five.
“Stenzel threw another good ballgame,” Rebels coach Pat Frank said. “We had timely hits and played great defense with no errors. We put it all together tonight, and I think they figured out what it takes to win ballgames.”
