The Albert Lea Tigers boys’ golf team placed seventh of seven teams Thursday in the Northfield Invitational at Northfield Golf Club.

The Tigers finished with a 351, four strokes behind sixth-place Apple Valley. Mankato West won the event with a 315.

Ninth-grader Brent Nafzger led the Tigers with an 83, and Brady Falk and Nick Dulas both scored an 88. Nate Stadheim was the fourth scorer with a 92.

The Tigers golfed again today at 12:23 p.m. against Winona and Rochester John Marshall at Northern Hills Golf Course in Rochester.
