President Dorothy Wedge called the April meeting to order. She requested a moment of silent prayer in memory of member Genevieve Schneider who passed away on March 15. She was 90 years of age. Genevieve had celebrated her 43rd anniversary as member of the club in February this year. She was a very active member and contributed much for the club. The group will truly miss her. A memorial was given by the club to the scholarship fund.

The roll call was taken and three members were absent. Alice Petersen read the minutes of the last meeting. Petersen also gave the treasurer’s report and both were approved and placed on file.

A report was given on the sale of dishcloths during the Wa-Tan-Ye Week, March 12.
