Ashley Anne Tukua and Christopher Alan Hotzler, of Fremont, Neb., were married at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9, 2010, at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark McNea performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Brian and Leanne Tukua, of Freeborn.

Grandparents of the bride are Edward and Lois Tukua, of Albert Lea, and Janet Schultz, of Wells, and the late Clem Schultz.

Parents of the groom are Richard and Lori Hotzler, of Wells.

Grandparents of the groom are Stan and Betty Hotzler and Bruce and Dorothy Lease, all of Worthington.

Maid of honor was Abbey Tukua, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Sara Duden, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erinn Hotzler, sister of the groom, Ashley Feist, friend of the couple, Andrea Schultz, friend of the bride, and Maggie Giese, friend of the bride.

Personal attendants were Rachelle Herman, friend of the couple, Jenna Stenzel, friend of the bride, Jennifer Schultz, cousin of the bride, and Lindsey Lease, cousin of the groom.

Flower girl was Anika Hansen, friend of the bride, daughter of Bob and Tonya Hansen, of Freeborn.

Best man was Matt Hotzler, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Blake Duden, friend of the couple, Kenny Sandt, friend of the groom, Shawn Herman, friend of the couple, Brian Remus, friend of the groom, and Cameron Chenault, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Callen Warmka, friend of the groom, Devin Sonnek, friend of the groom, Dane Giese, friend of the groom, and Eric Lease, cousin of the groom.

Ring bearer was Logan Ladwig, cousin of the bride and son of Greg and Jenny Ladwig, of Glenville.

Ashley is a 2005 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2009 graduate of Winona State University. She is employed as an associate cost accountant for Hormel Foods in Fremont, Neb.

Christopher is a 2006 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Winona State University. He is employed as a production supervisor for Hormel Foods in Fremont, Neb.

A reception and dance was held at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato.

After a honeymoon cruise in the southern Caribbean, the couple resides in Fremont, Neb.
