A woman being treated in urgent care at Albert Lea Medical Center was reported bit by a dog at 2:09 p.m. Thursday. The dog reportedly belonged to 1019 James Ave. Information on the breed of dog was unavailable.

Vehicle broken into early today

A vehicle at 110 North Shore Ave. was reported broken into at 2:27 a.m. today. According to reports, there were two people in the yard who left southbound in a white four-door vehicle.

Grass, refuse complaints given

Numerous long grass complaints and refuse calls were received by the Albert Lea Police Department on Thursday, according to reports.

Downtown cleanup date changed

The downtown Albert Lea cleanup has been postponed from Saturday to June 11 from 9 a.m. to noon because of the high chance of rain.
