Auto break-ins reported

Multiple automobiles were reported broken into in the Albert Lea area on Friday and Saturday.
One was reported broken into at 313 Johnson St. at 6:51 a.m. Friday; items were reported taken. Another was reported broken into at 402 Johnson St. at 6:52 a.m. Friday; items were reported taken.
A vehicle was reported broken into at 308 Lloyd Place at 8:34 a.m. Friday. An iPod docking station and change were reported taken.
The report of a truck being broken into at 414 Ridge Road came at 8:53 a.m. Friday. The break-in reportedly took place sometime during the night.
Truck reported stolen
A truck was reported stolen from 83237 310th St., Ellendale, at 2:38 p.m. Monday.

Vehicle fire reported
A vehicle fire was reported at 3:03 p.m. Monday at 19865 720th Ave., Albert Lea, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. No other information was available as of press time regarding how the fire started.
Mailbox damaged
A mailbox at 15697 785th Ave., Glenville was reported smashed at 11:19 p.m. Sunday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. The incident happened sometime in the few days prior.
Garage broken into
A garage at 331 Willamor Circle was reported broken into at 3:47 p.m. Friday, according to police. Items were reported stolen.
Hit-and-run crash reported
A report of a hit-and-run crash was reported at 10:40 p.m. Friday at 1329 South Shore Drive. The vehicle reportedly hit a few mailboxes and signs in the area.
Window reported broken
A window was reported broken out of a bar at 717 E. Richway Drive at 9:35 a.m. Saturday. Damage was estimated at $100.
Man arrested for DWI
Police arrested Mark Anthony Tavares, no address listed, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, third-degree test refusal and small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at 11:42 p.m. Saturday at 609 E. Main St., according to reports.
