An attempted break-in was reported at Richter Plumbing, 96 S. Maple St., Conger, at 11:20 a.m. Thursday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Station wagon stolen, found

Freeborn County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Carl Dama, no address listed, for felony motor vehicle theft at 4:30 a.m. today at Myre Big Island State park after receiving a call of a 1970s station wagon reported stolen from 2225 S.E. Marshall St. Albert Lea police notified the Sheriff’s Office of the missing vehicle, after which the deputy checked out the state park. Dama was reportedly sitting in the vehicle at the time he was found.

Copper wire reported stolen

A theft of copper wire was reported at 85628 215th St., Albert Lea, at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, according to reports.
