Shame on the Freeborn County commissioners. I feel it was through your lack of conviction, insight and backbone that the Lakes Foundation disbanded. Glen Mathiason is quoted as wanting to avoid controversy. What’s controversial about clean water?

The foundation folks are to be appluaded for their efforts, but without any official backup for their efforts it’s no wonder they disbanded. We elected these commissioners to protect and serve the interests of the public. They failed. They might be serving somebody’s interests, but it’s not the public/citizens of Freeborn County.

Next election, throw the bums out. And what is up by not pursuing the trash dumping at the park?
