Do not turn this American victory into a means to advance your party, your cause or yourself. Be a patriot. Let’s all be on the same side for this one.

Osama bin Laden is dead after a secret attack by Navy SEALs on his compound in Pakistan. U.S. citizens celebrate the news across the country.

His death reminds us that, despite our differences and constant politicking, we are all Americans. We all want a better country. We all want a safe country. We all want justice.

Congratulations to Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton for serving justice. All three hunted the world’s leading terrorist and the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks and many other successful and failed attacks foreign and domestic. Congratulations to the American military and to people around the world who wanted bin Laden brought to justice.

Justice has been served.
