Man injured after vehicle rolls over

One man was slightly injured at 1:10 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 69 north of Emmons. According to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports, Mark Heimsness, 40, of Austin, who was the driver of the vehicle, was arrested and is expected to be charged with driving while intoxicated.

Fuel missing

About $373 in diesel fuel was reported missing at 8:50 a.m. Sunday from the Gopher Stop in Clarks Grove, according to reports.

Bloody clothing found

Bloody clothing was reportedly found on Freeborn County Road 71 north of Twin Lakes at noon on Sunday. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the clothing appeared to be from a fight a few days prior.

Men cited for disorderly conduct

Gerald Simonson was cited for disorderly conduct at 2 p.m. Sunday after he allegedly was yelling obscenities at some neighbors on Noland Avenue in Hayward, reports stated.

Police arrested Matthew Paul Petersen, 35, of Albert Lea for disorderly conduct at 2:07 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of William Street and Washington Avenue.

Gas drive off reported

About $31 in fuel was reported taken from the Gopher Stop at 3:40 p.m. Sunday in a gas drive off, according to reports.

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:38 a.m. Saturday on the 1400 block of Sheridan Street. A vehicle mirror was reported damaged.

Radios reported stolen

Two radios were reported removed from vehicles at East Side 66, 2001 E. Main St., at 11:28 a.m. Saturday.

A radio was reported taken from a vehicle at 906 Luther Place at 2:23 p.m. Saturday, reports stated.

Police are encouraging residents to report anyone suspicious who might be looking into vehicles.

Two cited for shoplifting

Police cited Jaqueline Lorenzo, 41, and Sasha Marie Vargas, 21, both of Albert Lea, for shoplifting from Walmart at 3:03 p.m. Saturday, according to reports.

Man arrested for identity theft, forgery

Police arrested Cristian Romero Sanchez, 27, for identity theft and aggravated forgery after a traffic stop on Margaretha Avenue at 5:42 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

Man arrested for DWI

Police arrested Bridley Michael Ruggles, 37, for second-degree test refusal and third-degree driving while intoxicated at 11:43 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Seventh Street.
