The state of Minnesota requires a check of vision, hearing and developmental growth of all children before starting kindergarten. The Albert Lea school district will conduct a free screening from 2 to 6 p.m. on May 11 at Brookside Education Center. If your child has not been screened call Julie Sager at 379-4843 or email jsager@albertlea.k12.mn.us to schedule a 60 to 75-minute screening appointment for your child.
