Presbyterian Women meet

Presbyterian Women celebrated the joy of spring in Westmenister Hall at First Presbyterian Church on May 4. Beverly Haugen coordinated the meeting with the lighting of the Christ candle and giving devotions. Shirley Chryst played traditional hymns and singing as a group. Joyce Shaman, Methodist pastor, spoke on gratitude and showed an inspirational film of the beauty of the earth. Jan Zehnder, mission chairman, showed the packets the group will be collecting for world missions. Joan Reynen invited the group to the breakfast brunch on May 15 following church services. Irene Weber announced there will be quilting June 14 at the church for a mission project. The meeting was closed with prayer for world peace and care of the armed forces. -- Submitted photo
