Church Women United is offering two $500 scholarships to any 2011 high school graduate of Freeborn County. Application forms may be obtained from any member church — Ascension Lutheran, First Lutheran, Trinity Lutheran, Salem Lutheran, St. Theodore’s Catholic, Fist Presbyterian and United Methodist. Forms are also available at the guidance offices of Alden-Conger, Albert Lea and Glenville-Emmons high schools. Applications must be mailed by May 15 to Fern Urbatsch, 1001 Wood Park Lane, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
