Weight Watchers and the Freeborn County Humane Society are collaborating this Saturday during the national Weight Watchers Walk-It Challenge 5K walk.

Participants are asked to meet at 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Grace Street for a short instruction by Tribune advertising representative Catherine Buboltz about how to walk with Nordic poles. At 2 p.m., Weight Watchers participants will begin their walk around the lake. At 2:15 p.m., anyone who wishes to walk a dog from the Humane Society will begin their walk.

Humane Society volunteers will bring the dogs from the shelter, and a donation bucket for the Humane Society will also be at the event.
