Were horses killed by cougar?

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources was contacted Wednesday about two horses who were reportedly killed by a cougar at 23595 890th Ave. in Oakland. The incident was reported to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday. DNR officials are expected to be out investigating today.

Snow tires stolen
Snow tires were reported stolen from 419 Ridge Road at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday, according to reports.

Broken window reported

A broken window was found broken out of the old school at 479 Main St. in Emmons  at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday.
