A 22-year-old woman and her two small children received minor injuries Monday after a collision near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and U.S. Highway 69.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Dodge Magnum, driven by Renae A. Horecka, 27, of Albert Lea was southbound on Highway 69 at 9:20 a.m., when she attempted to turn eastbound.

A 2005 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Jennifer L. Cox, 22, of Albert Lea, was northbound on Highway 69 when the cars collided.

Cox, and her 9-month-old and 3-year-old children, were transported to Albert Lea Medical Center for minor injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Albert Lea Police Department and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
