Tim Donahue, heavy equipment operator with the Albert Lea Street Department, will retire Thursday after 38 years with the city.

Donahue is the most senior heavy equipment operator in the city. He sweeps city streets in the spring, summer and fall and plows alleys and parking lots in the winter, among other responsibilities.
