Motorists will encounter single-lane traffic on the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 near Owatonna beginning Monday and running through September, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The ramp connecting westbound U.S. Highway 14 to southbound I-35 will remain closed. Motorists should follow the posted detour.

The closures are necessary as work continues on the three-year reconstruction of Highway 14 from Waseca to Owatonna, which also includes construction of a new interchange at I-35 and Highway 14.
