The Joseph Company of Austin and Albert Lea, was recognized by Hormel Foods Corporation on May 5 for winning the company’s 2010 “Spirit of Excellence” award for construction services. Carter Wagner, president, accepted the award from Arlen Schamber, Hormel Engineering Department.

Joseph qualified for this elite status by meeting or exceeding specific requirements established by Hormel’s Supplier Quality Management (SQM) committee. This honor has rated The Joseph Company 10th out of over 8,000 vendors worldwide.

“Striving to perform the construction trades productively and safely while delivering a finished product of high quality is a process that never ends. Hormel has dedicated a huge amount of resources to evaluate the performance of their vendors and applaud a select few for a job well done. We’re very proud to be one of those companies,” said Wagner.
