A music recital was held at 6:30 p.m. June 9 at Oak Park Place in Albert Lea. A string quintet with members, Kristine Volz, Ariel Keller, Sharon Astrup-Scott, Kristen Hahn and Lori Volz, which performed “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” K.525, 1st Movement by Mozart. Other ensembles included a vocal duet by Cali Mowers and Travis Nemec, a piano duet by Nicole Borneman and Astrup-Scott, a string trio by Ariel Keller, Astrup-Scott and Kristine Volz, a piano trio by Nicole Borneman, Kristine Volz and Mitch Wood and a second piano trio by Kristine Volz, Mitch Wood and Astrup-Scott. Both the Haydn and Bates piano trios were arranged by Astrup-Scott.

Solos were performed by Travis Nemec, piano and voice; Sadie DeVries, vocal; Cali Mowers, piano and voice; Kristen Hahn, cello; Kristine Volz, viola and voice; Ariel Keller, violin; and Mitch Wood, cello.

Root beer floats and cookies were served following the performances. The next recital is Aug. 18. For information call 377-0672.
