Small fire extinguished in Wells

Emergency crews responded to a fire around 3:30 p.m. Tueday at the Wells Public Utilities building at 101 First Street S.E., Wells. According to the Wells Fire Department, a small fire broke out in a smoke stack but was extinguished. The Wells Ambulance and Police Department also assisted at the scene. -- Andrew Dyrdal
