Alex Carlson, majoring in actuarial science and hockey player for the Buckeyes has been honored and placed on the League-Best 195 Student-Athletes Academic All-Big Ten/Spring At-Large Squads. Alex has earned his hockey letter in his sophmore and freshman years. Alex has also been on the schools Dean’s list.

Alex is the son of Mark and Pam Carlson of Albert Lea and Diane Ellertson-Knopik of Phoniex, Ariz.

He is the grandson of ElRoy (ACE) and Maureen Carlson, Betty and the late Darrell Ellertson all of Albert Lea.
