First District Congressman Tim Walz, joined by energy, labor and business leaders, on Friday will unveil bipartisan energy legislation he introduced in Congress with the Bipartisan Energy Working Group.

Walz is slated to be at Ulland Bros. Construction, 2400 Myers Road in Albert Lea at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

According to a news release from Walz’ office, Walz and his colleagues brought the group together in March and drafted legislation aimed at creating jobs, putting America on the path to energy independence and rebuilding infrastructure.
