Weekend Planner

Town festivals abound in the area this weekend. Area residents can choose their favorite events in New Richland at the New Richland Farm & City Days, in Lake Mills for the July Jubilee or in Hayward for Hayward Days.

A schedule of events for New Richland’s festival was published in the Wednesday edition of the Tribune. Look to Page 5 of today’s edition for more about Hayward Days, and look to Friday’s Tribune for a feature on Lake Mills’ July Jubilee.

One of the biggest area events will be the April Sorensen Memorial Half Marathon starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. The half marathon starts in Albert Lea and ends in Hayward, where people can celebrate Hayward Days.
