In a effort to give businesses and organizations more time to plan their parade floats, the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting theme ideas for the 2012 Third of July Parade. Suggestions will be taken until Oct. 3. Online voting will once again be offered once the ideas have been compiled. People can submit their ideas to Tami Jensen at operations@albertlea.org or on Facebook under Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce.
