Please call to the attention of your reading public a recent article in the Star Tribune regarding the sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings. The article was written by Rochelle Olson and pointed out several important facts — namely that the Ramsey County commissioners were going to tax the residents in their county to raise $350 million for the Vikings without the taxed people having anything to say about it. The second point made was that with the poor economic conditions in this state that we (the taxpayers) are supposed to pay $300 million for the same purpose.
