By the way, wasn’t the Fourth of July weekend in Albert Lea just perfect this year? No storms or rocks ruined the parade. The fireworks display was magnificent. The weather was indeed the best in years. The parade wasn’t filled with politicians and not too many semitrailers. The floats were creative. And the downtown carnival was like a cherry on top of a sundae!
