Albert Lea normally is a breezy place. The prairie of southern Minnesota gets a lot of wind, which is why there are many wind farms here. So it isn’t often we see Fountain Lake so placid. The water is high, and no boats on Monday were churning up the glass-like surface. People were more than happy to be swimming in the water on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to beat the heat and humidity.
