I am writing this letter to the people who use the new sidewalk put in along Hammer Road last summer. I hope you are enjoying our contribution to the community. I just have one request in return. Please stop throwing things on the lawns as you walk along there lately. I have picked up bags of dog droppings, a bicycle chain and numerous other garbage on my lawn alone. There is a garbage can across the street at Troy-Hammer Park where you can deposit your garbage. Remember it is private property. Show some respect to us people who gave you that “gift.”
