The United States Achievement Academy announced that Kaitlyn Rogers, of Waseca, has been recognized as a student of excellence in fine arts.

Rogers, who attends Minnesota State University – Mankato was nominated for this honor by Deb Wantoch-Yess a teacher at Waseca High School. Rogers will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s official yearbook which is published nationally.

Rogers is the daughter of Anthony and Mary Rogers from Waseca. Grandparents are Elsie Feller, of Clinton, Iowa, and Cecilia Rogers, of Albert Lea.
